Trading Credits

Trading credits are non-withdrawable margin that allows traders to experience the platform before commiting personal capital.

User accounts with trading credits cannot withdraw balance below the total value of credits received, even if recovered after a drawdown. Realized profits generated from trading credits may be withdrawn like regular funds.

Trading credits on VDEX differ from centralized exchanges. In the event of losses, user equity is deducted before credits. Because VDEX operates without KYC or identity-level controls, this protection is needed to prevent an attacker from creating multiple accounts and extracting risk-free profit.

Because trading credits are primarily issued to onboard new users, they expire after 30 days of inactivity.

If an account holds trading credits but has made no net deposits, withdrawals are limited to a maximum of 50% of the trading credits balance.

VDEX reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revoke trading credits if any unusual, suspicious, or abusive activity is detected.
